Regular Treatments

Relaxation Massage

A classic oil massage that uses long, rhythmic and repetitive strokes to soothe aching muscles, increase circulation and quiet nerves - perfect for those looking to simply relax.

Deep Tissue

A more targeted and therapeutic treatment that addresses specific areas of muscular and fascial tension by using deep and more direct pressure as well as slow moving strokes. The aim of Deep Tissue is for a long term change in the body’s holding patterns.

Deep Flow

The ultimate in integrative massage, Deep Flow uses a combination of techniques selected to suit the particular needs of the individual while drawing on the yogic principles of mindfulness and alignment. This treatment addresses the whole person – body, mind and spirit – and is recommended for both new-comers and massage connoisseurs.

Sports Massage

Used to increase circulation and flexibility in active individuals, Sports Massage can be applied before or after exercise to decrease lactic acid build up, stiffness and pain, and help prevent injury. Various techniques are used including flushing, rocking, gentle stretching and compressions.

Foot Reflexology

An ancient healing art that involves stimulating the acupressure points of the feet that correspond to every part of the body including organs and glands. Reflexology helps the body to re-establish equilibrium in order to achieve optimum health. By working the zones and reflexes in the feet, the body and mind completely relax.

Aromatherapy

Complementary with any oil treatment, choose one of our blends, Relaxation, Muscle Relief or Energy Boost, all made from organic essential oils.

Couple’s Massage

Many of our treatments may be enjoyed on side-by-side massage tables in the same room. If she wants a Shiatsu treatment and he wants Deep Tissue, that’s no problem, so long as there is enough room.

Specialty Treatments

We are pleased to offer a variety of specialty treatments.  Generally we need advance notice to book these treatments, but feel free to inquire – an appropriate therapist may be available on short notice.

Shiatsu

Translating literally as “finger pressure”, Shiatsu is a popular Japanese acupressure massage. The client is fully clothed and the treatment is performed on a mat on the floor. Shiatsu utilizes both pressure point therapy and gentle stretching techniques to stimulate healing and regulate body function including the energy or “chi” which flows through the meridians, nourishing the blood, organs, muscles, glands and nerves.

Lomi Lomi

A sacred massage that originated in the temples of ancient Hawaii, Lomi Lomi is a flowing treatment that is both physical and energetic. The practitioner uses fluid, wave-like motions to relax fatigued muscle, restore body alignment, rejuvenate the mind and empower the soul.

Thai Massage

Thai Massage is traditionally performed on a mat on the floor with the client fully clothed. It employs elements of Yoga and Ayurveda in a treatment that is a series of flowing movements, stretches and pressure points. Depending on the unique needs of each client, the treatment may be quite vigorous or more gentle and soothing.

Hot Stone

One of the most popular treatments in spas today, Hot Stone massage is an incredible experience.  Heat from the stones helps to relax muscles and increase blood flow to further accelerates the healing process. The stones can also be used as tools to deliver deeper pressure to the areas that need it.

Abhyanga

An Ayurvedic treatment performed by two therapists to deliver a unique, synchronized massage.  The emphasis is on “oleation” – a generous amount of warm oil is used over the whole body – with a flowing and rhythmic series of strokes. Heaven on Earth!
